Sophia's Arrival

Well Sophia is now 11 weeks old and though I thought this would be a way to keep everyone in tune with what is going on in our lives, I have been a slacker!! We are all a little more settled now and I think I can do this whole blog thing the right way.

Time to do a little cleaning out!

I am running out of working space in our dining room with all of my craft and sewing projects. I have decided that eating together as a family comes before my business so we need to reclaim our dining table. Because of this, I am redoing our garage and organizing it to create a better workspace for me. Any ideas on organizing craft items would be greatly appreciated. I am especially trying to figure out how to get all of my ribbon in one spot.

We have a little golfer on our hands! Dylan has used his plastic golf clubs until they have shattered! Duct Tape couldn't hold them together. We decided to go to Play it Again Sports here in Savannah to look at some used ones. John had decided that even if he had to get a real adult club that Dylan could just grow into it and use in the backyard that we wouldn't have to keep fixing his others. The boys headed off to the store and did they get lucky! Not only was there a golf club his size there were three that came with a golf bag. Needless to say, we haven't been able to keep this child out of the backyard(and that goes for daddy too). He has played non stop with his new golf clubs.

It is official! I believe the nesting stage has taken over my body!
I have cleaned out every kitchen cabinet and organized it. Why I feel that is important to having a new baby in the house is beyond me.

It's about time!

Well we have decided to join the rest of the world in creating a blog because it is such a great way to keep up to date information about our family.
